You Scream I Scream We all Scream for ICECREAM

Well today was a very exciting and eventful day. Nora and I went to Marshalls this morning

(my weakness) to look for things for the future playroom. I am just having such a fun time planning this room! So far i have two picture frames, a window valence, and a decoration to go on a wall shelf. Kory and I sold our old crib and pack-n-play to a friend of ours who is expecting, and with that money I am buying the other things I want for the room. An adorable table and chairs set I found on Ebay, a ceramic tea set and a few other decorations for the room.

After Marshalls, my boss Meghann and her daughter and a friend Carly came over and we went to icecream with the girls( my dad and Kory tagged along too). The girls loved the icecream. It was Ella's first cone! Well, after icecream we took the girls to the park for a quick play before it got too cold out. Boy they were tired at this point, but the fun was not over. We ended up getting subs for dinner from Frankies and went over to Meghanns. It was such a fun night, we have great fun laughing at old pictures and ugly baby clothes! :-) The girls all played so nicely and it was just a fun relaxing night!

From Babbling to Words!

So I thought the day would never come, but it has! My baby is talking, not much but each day more and more! I am so excited for her that I thought I would share her word list thus far!

1.) Mom
2.) MaMa
3.) Dad
4.) DaDa
5.) Baby(her all time favorite word, and what she calls Nora)
6.) Bye
7.) Hi
8.) Why
9.) Me ( usually is MeMeMe)
10.) Woof Woof ( when you ask what the dog says!)

I would say that most of these words came out within the last 2 weeks, so keeping fingers crossed that by August 25th she will have many many more words so that we don't even have to consider speech lessons!

New lens... Attempt One

I got my lens in the mail today, (woohoo) so I decided to go play with it really quick. Here are just a few shots I got. I still have much to learn about it, but from what I know so far I love it!

I know a few are really bright, but keep in mind i am still learning :-)

Zoo Trip

Today Kory took a vacation day from work, and we headed to the Buffalo Zoo! We had such great weather and an awesome time! The girls were so good, Ava walked almost the whole day and Nora hung out in the stroller or in my arms! Ava loved the Elephants, PolarBears, Lions and any other really big animal. Her favorite thing to do was to bark at all the animals as if they were all dogs! It was so funny. After the zoo we went to my moms for pizza. It was a great day! 19 Months

My sweet girls is 19 Months today, hard to believe! It seems as though each month goes by faster and faster than the last. I thought I would share 19 reasons why I love her so much, of course there are so many more!

1.) I love the was she has horrible morning breath each day but always loves to give me kisses
2.) The pure excitment when i show her the new clothes I bought her.
3.) Her giggle!!!
4.) The new things she says each day, and how languge is finally coming out!
5.) I love watching her interact with her sister, she just loves Nora
6.) Her love for outdoors, we could stay out all day and she would be perfectly content
7.) Cuddly time
8.) Her crazy mohawk hair when she gets out of the shower
9.) I love that she loves her big girl bed!
10.) She is my shopping buddy( well most of the time)
11.) It amazes me each day how much she can eat, and that she is such a good eater!
12.) Watching her in the bath tub, and knowing that this summer in the pool is going to be great
13.) How she loves her snuggles and rubs anything under her nose!
14.) Her love for mama and papa and all her aunts and uncle
15.) I love how when she comes to work with mom she thinks she is the queen of the office.
16.) I secretly like that she is stranger shy to an extent, I hate when weirdos try to touch her and talk to her!
17.) I loooove how excited she gets at church when she sees my mom singing on the platform!

Oh Happy Day

I just would like to announce that I finally ordered my new camera lens! It is a 50mm 1.8 and I could not be more excited! Look out girls here comes the many photoshoots! :-)

Easter Sneak Peak

I decided to try and do some of Ava's Easter pictures in the house since it has been so cold to go outside. Well since they did not turn out good enough for my liking, I thought I would share some on here, knowing that these are not the ones i am going to be using! Enjoy!

Where oh where did our Baby go?

We have been so busy around here latley, getting the yard and gardens ready for spring, going to basketball games and getting ready for easter! It is all happening too fast, and my baby is getting to big! It is so hard for me to believe that she is going to be two in August. I wish I could freeze time and have her stay little forever, but since that is not a possiblity I guess we should just embrace the age that she is now! I look at these pictures and just think, Man where did my baby go ???

Luck of the Irish

I know that we have some Irish in us, not a ton but some. Everyone that knows me knows that I am all for the photoshoots, and St. Patricks Day is not exception to the rule. I went to a local bakery and found the cutest brownie dipped in chocolate on a stick, with a four leaf clover on top. I picked that up and made a bow out of green ribbon and there we had it, we were ready for pictures! Nora was a little hard this time around, especially since Ava wanted to feed her the brownie the whole time. All in all I think i got some cute pictures! I even got a cute one of Mia, my parents dog.

Goodbye Crib Hello Freedom

Yep, some may think we are nuts but we think it was a great idea! Ava is now officially in her toddler bed. The crib is taken down and stored away! Ava was never a huge fan of her crib and lately it had just gotten terrible. She would scream every time we even walked into her room, and the crying would be ten times worse once she was in her crib. Well since the toddler bed has been in effect things have been great! Ava is sleeping better which in turns means that Kory and I are sleeping better as well. Ava is just so darn proud of her bed, we are so glad we listened to our gut feelings and made the switch!
