Hooray for Books!

I ordered Ava and I some books from Amazon what seemed liked forever ago. Well today I was so lucky to see a package at home waiting for us! I ordered Understanding Exposure for myself. For those of you who know me well enough know that I love photography but am not great at it, well I bought this book in hopes that I will become better. It is a highly rated book, I am 22 pages into in and am already in hot water.... I am not a dumb person but come on this stuff sounds like a foreign language to me.... I guess I will have to keep reading and keep messing with my camera! And when all else fails I resort to reading one of the books I got Ava, " My New Potty" ! Ha Ha

Eleven Months Ago...

Eleven months ago today a wondered what the little girl in my belly would be like? Would she have blue eyes or green, blond hair brown hair or no hair? Would her finger and toes be long or short. I think every mother does this at one point or another during her pregnancy! Well Ava far exceeded what we ever hoped for!

The Famous Pout

My parents have been gone for about a week now on a vacation for two, nice I know! They should be home in about five days. Ava is missing her grandparents and babysitter very much by now! I know she is only little but when I go to Grandmas house now she knows my mom is not there because she crawls all around looking for her! Well yesterday we were sitting outside and I said " Ava guess what, only 5 more days till Grandma is home!" Well apparently Ava did not like that response at all! This is what she had to say! (Thank God for my cell phone that caught the pic so fast!)

A Trip to the Trails

Ava went on her first offical walk with her new best friend Ella today. It was very fun and very relaxing for Mommy and Ava. We have a very nice park across the street from our development, it has a nice walking trail with makes it very nice for big bulky strollers. Ella slept the whole walk and Ava pointed out all of the men mowing the lawn! We went to the park for a bit but it was very crowded, next summer is going to be great once both babies are a little bit more mobile! All in all it was a nice time at the park, and thankfully the rain stayed away! I think these walks will become more frequent!
