Family Vacation!!!!

Well its official we took our first family vacation! It was a blast, rather short but still so much fun. We went to stay(Aug 27-30) with my best friend from HS Jeff. He lives in Connenticut where he is a police officer. We took the train into NYC one day and spent the day site seeing and shopping. We toured Jeff's city and shopped somemore. I swear if I lived where Jeff does, we would be in the poor house. He has every store you could name within 5 minutes of his house. Not even kidding. We got to feed these HUGE ducks, that would walk right up to us and eat the bread out of our hands. Well not so much me but it worked for Kory. We really had a great time, and cant wait to go back again! Thanks to Jeff for letting us stay at his townhouse, I know it was probably a hugh shock to him when we roll up with enough stuff for 2 weeks!

Ava,
Well today has finally come, You are officially two today. I know it sounds so cliche to say but I cant believe how fast these past two years have gone by! You went from a helpless little newborn to an adventurous, independent, full of life toddler! I was looking through your baby album last night and remember just how small you were, you were such a beautiful baby Ava, and now you are an even cuter toddler!
I am so proud of the little person you have become, always remember that! You are a great big sister to Nori, and an awesome helper to me and Daddy.
I look forward to what the rest of the year brings for us, and next year as you are on your way to 3!
Please always stay the sweet little girl you are, NEVER CHANGE. Always remember how much I love you, and that your Dad and I are always here for you no matter what!

Party Fun!

Ava's Ladybug Party was AWESOME, everything turned out fantastic. Well almost everything, we had a little cookie mishap, but other than that everything was great. Ava looked adorable of course in here tutu and shirt, which lasted on for about an hour. It was so hot out that she just ran around in a tee shirt most of the day. I can also thank the lovely heat for popping all of my balloons almost before the guests even arrived. I shouldnt have put them out so early I suppose but really who knew that they would ALL pop from heat. Live and learn I guess! We had a great turnout and Ava had a lot of fun playing with her cousins and her friends. All the kids really seemed to love the pinata and the cupcakes! What else really matters anyways?! So all in all it was a pretty fun day and I still cant believe my baby is 2! Now on too Nora's 1st. Does it ever end? :-)
